cph appoints NED - February 2012

cph, the leading specialist provider of in-sourced direct recruitment solutions, has appointed Nigel Bromley as a Non-Executive Director.

Bromley is a Chartered Director with a strong track record of developing businesses within the utilities, energy and environmental sectors in the UK and Europe. He founded, and is now the Non-Executive Chairman of Gemserv, a leading market structure change agent within the industries it serves. He also led Gemserv’s acquisition and substantial re-development of Red Island Consulting, a leading global information security company.

cph looks to Silicon Valley - January 2012

cph, the leading specialist RPO solutions provider for mid-market and emerging companies, has signed a business partnering agreement with LakeMR, a niche RPO/MSP based in San Francisco.

Commenting on the agreement, Scott Russell, cph's co-Founder/CEO, said "We view this new partnership as a significant step forward in developing our channels to market. We have a proven track record in providing proactive, onsite recruitment support to US technology and digital companies that are looking to expand their business into the UK/EMEA region. In 2010 cph established a JV company in Sydney to provide RPO support for clients that are expanding into the APAC region.

Celerant Consulting and cph sign new contract - January 2012

Celerant Consulting, a leading international operational consultancy firm, has signed a new longer-term in-sourced recruitment services agreement with cph, the specialist RPO solutions provider for medium sized companies. cph has been working with Celerant since last April, building and managing a direct candidate sourcing model for all their EMEA region permanent hires.

TalkTalk Group and cph sign RPO contract - December 2011

Specialist in-sourced direct recruitment solutions provider, cph, has signed an RPO contract with one of the UK’s leading Internet Service Providers, TalkTalk Group.

The contract commenced last month with a dual location, fully embedded cph recruitment team in place and the implementation phase is due to be completed in January 2012. TalkTalk’s decision to outsource recruitment was part of a wider strategic move to create a group-wide HR Shared Services. The objective is to deliver a one-stop shared service recruitment function for the business with a direct candidate sourcing model as a core component. cph had previously delivered an RPO solution to TalkTalk’s B2B division.

New additions to cph team - November 2011

Amanda Law and Mathew Norval have joined as on-site Resourcing Consultants in the North West and Alexis Ward has joined as a Recruitment Coordinator. Tom Couldwell has joined as a Senior Recruiter, working onsite with a major IT services sector client in London.

Taylor is in her fourth year with cph and has managed three of their major technology sector accounts during that time. She joined cph from one of the major recruitment outsourcing companies having previously worked for specialist agencies and search firms.

MD appointed as 'Expert Adviser' - October 2011

Matrix Private Equity Partners, which invests in UK privately owned companies across a range of industries, has appointed cph co-Founder/MD, Jerry Wright, as an Operating Partner. He will be their specialist adviser in the recruitment/staffing industry, providing due diligence support and expertise in relation to potential investments in the sector.

cph MD completes 'Challenge' - September 2011

Jerry Wright, co-Founder/MD of specialist RPO firm, cph, successfully completed last Saturday's 'Cotswold Challenge'.

The annual event, organised by LDWA, is designed to test long distance hikers’ fitness and endurance. Wright successfully completed the 25.7 mile course, which includes over 4,550 feet of climbs, in 7 hours 58 minutes.

Commenting afterwards he said, "It was one of the most challenging hikes I've done, with the total climb being equivalent to scaling Ben Nevis. In the end I was very pleased with my time, having lost 10-15 minutes a few miles in due to poor navigating!"

Rebecca Khosrowfar has joined from a niche recruitment agency specializing in mid and senior level positions within the on-line retail space. Alexia Manhusen has joined from a US RPO company, where she has specialized in the technology sector. Following their initial training and induction programme, Rebecca and Alexia will be working on client site delivering direct recruiting solutions.

cph launches new interim service - January 2011

cph, the specialist in-sourced direct recruiting solutions provider, has announced the launch of a new interim service line, which will provide accredited recruitment managers, recruiters and talent acquisition specialists to those organisations that have built, or are looking to build, an 'in house' direct recruitment capability.

The new 'cph-interim' service line will be led by Chad Horne, who has joined from recruiter, Badenoch & Clark, where he headed up the Procurement, Finance and Policy Division.
